I've been told that I have a problem of giving up easily. If i didnt see signs of success quickly, i would give up. But is there such a time that one should know to stop? The problem with that question is that we will never know considering that stopping dictates the answer in the end. I was always a believer that there were certain things that were meant for certain people to excel at, and others things werent for everyone. However listening to PRESIDENT Obama speak, he said, ' Greatness isnt given, it is earned.' If i dont carry it out till the end, i will never know where greatness lies, for greatness is the accomplishment, not an inheritance.
So.... i take it a step further! What is greatness to you? Because i too was one who would quit if success didn't arrive on my time. But it's important to know what greatness is. Is it determined by the world, or by a culture, by a society, or by your parents, or even by you? What drives you that could never cease but is still faithfully and hopefully attainable? You say greatness, i call it purpose, same thing! But... when you try to attain purpose, nothing stops you, nothing can motivate you more than that purpose motivates you. Nothing is an inheritance accept the love of Jesus Christ and the grace and mercy of God... so, with Obama in that sense... i beg to differ. Because to me that is GREATNESS!!!! love ya kid brother... keep on writing!
